A Render connection pushes your Vexly secrets to a service’s or environment group’s environment variables.

Create a token

Create an API key at Account Settings → API Keys.

Render API keys carry full account access — there are no fine-grained scopes, so treat the key like a password.

Add the connection in Vexly

1. Open Integrations in Vexly and pick Render under Browse integrations.
2. Paste the key.
3. Click Save connection. Vexly verifies it with Render and stores it encrypted — the connection is reusable across every project in your workspace.
